"A top performer in my garden where it has flourished against the warm south-facing wall of my house. The small, glossy-topped evergreen leaves on slender red stems are pretty all year round, whilst the slender-tubed pendulous flowers in summer are spectacular.

In its native Mexico, these flowers are said to be visited by humming birds."
